By creating an account, downloading the Dentlora app, or using our services, you agree to the collection and handling of your information as outlined in this policy.

We only collect data necessary to deliver secure, personalized dental and healthcare coordination services:

  • Account Information: Name, phone number, email address, date of birth, and password.
  • Dental & Health Records: Medical history questionnaires, dental treatment plans, past appointments, prescribed medications, dental notes, and clinical history shared with your consent.
  • Images & Diagnostics: Optional dental photos, X-rays, or scan files you or your dentist upload to your treatment journey.
  • Appointment & Clinic Data: Booking dates, selected clinics, treating dental practitioners, and visit notes.
  • Technical & Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and crash analytics to maintain app reliability.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is utilized strictly for the following purposes:

  • To enable scheduling and management of dental appointments with verified clinics and practitioners.
  • To maintain your connected dental history and treatment milestones across participating providers.
  • To send vital appointment reminders, medication reminders, and follow-up care alerts.
  • To provide responsive patient support and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • To uphold platform security, prevent unauthorized access, and comply with applicable health regulations.

We will NEVER sell your personal data, contact information, or medical records to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

  • Strict Access Controls: Only you and dental practitioners whom you explicitly authorize have access to your clinical treatment timeline and records.
  • Infrastructure Security: Cloud servers are housed in certified, high-security data centers with 24/7 monitoring and regular vulnerability assessments.

5. Sharing of Information

We share your information solely in the following defined scenarios:

  • With Your Dental Clinics & Doctors: Your chosen healthcare providers receive your profile, appointment details, and relevant dental history to provide treatment.
  • Trusted Service Providers: Secure third-party services (such as cloud hosting, transactional SMS/email services, and crash logging) that assist in operating the platform under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: If compelled by lawful court order, subpoena, or applicable health authority regulations.

6. Account Deletion & Your Rights

In compliance with App Store and Google Play guidelines, you retain full ownership and control over your personal data:

  • In-App Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time directly inside the Dentlora App by navigating to Settings > Profile > Delete Account.
  • Direct Request via Email: You may also request complete account deletion and data removal by emailing us at Support@dentlora.com.
  • Data Export & Correction: You can request a copy of your stored records or request corrections to inaccurate personal info at any time.

* Note: In accordance with statutory healthcare regulations, clinics may be legally required to preserve specific past treatment charts and clinical records for a mandatory medical retention period.

7. Children’s Privacy

Dentlora is not intended for unsupervised use by children under the age of 13. Minors may have their dental records managed via the platform only through a parent or legal guardian’s authorized family profile.

We may periodically update this policy to reflect enhancements in our services or legal requirements. When updates occur, we will notify you through the app or by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
